Daily Maintenance
- Use a soft sponge for cleaning. Avoid sharp tools like steel wool, which can scratch the surface.
 - For tough stains or discoloration, soak the item in warm water with sodium percarbonate for about 30 minutes, then gently scrub with a soft sponge.

Usage Instructions
- This product is microwave-safe.
 - Avoid drastic temperature changes. Placing ceramics over an open flame can cause them to crack.
 - We recommend hand-washing thin, handmade ceramics instead of using a dishwasher.

Care Instructions for Crazing
Crazing, sometimes referred to as “ice cracks” or “glaze cracks,” is the beautiful network of fine lines that appears on the glaze surface of ceramics. This happens naturally during the cooling process due to the slight difference in the shrinkage rate between the clay body and the glaze.
These lines are only superficial and do not affect the integrity or functionality of the piece.
You may notice that crazing becomes more prominent over time, particularly after holding colored or dark liquids, as the pigments settle into the lines.
If you prefer to prevent the crazing lines from darkening, you can perform a simple starch treatment before the first use. Here are the steps:
-
Find a pot larger than your ceramic piece. Fill it about two-thirds full of water and add a small handful of rice, or simply use rice-washing water (the starchy water left after washing rice).
 -
Place the ceramic piece into the rice water, ensuring it is fully submerged. Gently bring the water to a boil over low heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. Please ensure the water does not boil too vigorously to prevent the ceramic from knocking against the pot and getting damaged.
 -
Turn off the heat and allow the ceramic piece to cool naturally within the pot. Once completely cool, rinse it with cold water and dry it, or allow it to air-dry naturally.
